Dolphin robotic pool cleaners are among the top of the line in domestic robot pool cleaners. They are durable and very easy to use. However, from time to time, they may experience some issues that are difficult to troubleshoot without the proper tools. The following article provides some troubleshooting tips for these problems:

Power Supply Turns On but the Dolphin Doesn’t Move

If your power supply turns on but your Dolphin does not move at all, there is likely an obstruction in the dolphin’s tracks or brushes (check if it has a full filter indicator light, empty if needed). It could also be that the Rapid Drain Flap is missing or stuck – this creates a seal to enable it to climb walls. If your model has white Climbing Rings on its brush, allow them to soak in water (5 -10 minutes) so they become soft and pliable, enabling the cleaner to grip walls.

If the above steps do not resolve the problem, try unplugging the blue cable from the Power Supply Unit and turning it on – if it turns on by itself there is a problem with the power supply. If the Dolphin still does not turn on, it is a problem with the dolphin itself or the drive train and/or the impeller and will need to be brought in for troubleshooting and repair.
