The LD50 of ALD-52 is unknown. Adverse psychological reactions are common, especially at high doses. Some of these symptoms include anxiety, delusions, panic attacks, and rare seizures. Medical attention is usually only required if a severe psychotic episode or "pseudoacid" such as 25i NBOMe or DOB is suspected. Taking benzodiazepines or antipsychotics may help alleviate negative cognitive effects.

Dangerous interactions

Warning: Many psychoactive substances that are fairly safe on their own can suddenly become dangerous and even life-threatening when combined with certain other substances. The following list provides some known risky interactions (although it cannot be guaranteed to include all of them).

 lithium - Lithium is commonly used to treat bipolar disorder. Plenty of anecdotal evidence suggests that taking it with psychedelics significantly increases the risk of psychosis and seizures. Therefore, this combination is strictly prohibited.

 Cannabis - Cannabis may have unexpectedly strong and unpredictable synergies with the effects of ALD-52. Caution with this combination is recommended as it significantly increases the risk of adverse psychological reactions such as anxiety, paranoia, panic attacks and psychosis. Users are advised to take only a fraction of their normal cannabis dose at first and take long breaks between injections to avoid accidental overdoses.

 Stimulants - Stimulants such as amphetamine, cocaine, or methylphenidate affect many parts of the brain and alter dopaminergic function. This combination increases the risk of anxiety, paranoia, panic attacks, and thought cycles. This interaction may also lead to an increased risk of mania and psychosis.

 Tramadol - Tramadol can lower the seizure threshold [18], and psychedelics may trigger seizures in susceptible individuals.

The toxicity and long-term health effects of recreational use of ALD-52 do not appear to have been studied in any scientific context, and the exact toxic dose is unknown. This is because ALD-52 is a research chemical with a very limited history of human use.

Anecdotal evidence from people who have tried ALD-52 within the community suggests that simply trying the drug alone at low to moderate doses and using it with great caution will not have negative health effects (although nothing can be completely guaranteed)
