Each of the numerous antibody tests available has a unique sensitivity and specificity. In contrast to a particular trial, which should exclude all accurate negative antibodies test results, a susceptible test should detect all positive results. Since no test is 100% sensitive and 100% specific, validating the test before use is crucial to understanding the test's features. The poor test quality can be considered when adjusting the test findings from a population-based serology survey.
