An unaccompanied minor :

The term "unaccompanied minor" is used by Delta Airlines to refer to children between the ages of 5 and 14 who are flying alone and without a known or unknowing adult companion on the same flight. For an extra cost, the airline will assist in making reservations for unaccompanied minors, and a member of the Delta staff will accompany the kid through the airport. Children must, however, be accompanied by an adult passenger who is at least 18 years old if they are 4 years old or younger.

The unaccompanied minor's age requirement:

Regarding children's ages and the destination being traveled, Delta Minor Policy have a lot of rules and restrictions. The criteria are relevant in light of the child's age at the time of the movement, not when the reservation is made. The following items must be present for an unaccompanied juvenile to qualify:

  1. Unless accompanied by an adult passenger who is at least 18 years old, children 4 and younger are not allowed to fly alone on the same flight.
  2. On a limited number of direct flights, a child between the ages of 5 and 7 is authorized to travel.
  3. A child between the ages of 8 and 14 is allowed to board some flights that are relentless as well as some flights that are comparable.
  4. Children who are between the ages of 15 and 17 are allowed to travel as regular passengers. To be sure, if the parent chooses to pay the required fee for unaccompanied minor reservation administration for their own satisfaction and their child's comfort.

Delta unaccompanied minor travel rules:

Unaccompanied minors are permitted to connect on the joint venture partners of Delta Airlines, Air France and KLM. However, travel is not permitted on late-night flights (9 p.m.–5 a.m.) or on the final connecting flight of the day. Some exceptions will also apply. If the qualifying connecting flight is not available, travel on some flights will be allowed. The last flight of the day, trips to or from Hawaii and Alaska, or nonstop domestic flights lasting two hours or less are examples of places where there is just one connection available. When connecting through another city, a Delta employee or employee of a business partner will help the unaccompanied kid.

While flying over specified cities like Atlanta, Detroit, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Seattle, Cincinnati, New York JFK, Memphis, and Salt Lake City, the aircraft also provides the child with access to Delta Sky Zones offices. These offices have free phones, toys, video games, and literature. The child must pack their own medication that they need for the flight.
