A cyber pandemic
The largest cyberattack ever on Montenegro occurred on August 20 of last year. In addition to causing power outages and harming official websites, including the Ministry of Defense's, it also put vital infrastructure, such as the water system, in grave danger.
It was a never-before-seen attack. fierce and powerful. Other NATO nations were also targeted by hackers in addition to Montenegro. According to Duan Polovi, director of the Information Security Directorate, 150 computers across ten governmental entities were affected by the cyberattack.
