The following levels of skill are needed: 53 thieving 50 firemaking 10 slayer (unless you have gas masks as part of Plague City quest) Plague City quest) and 50 magic. Only firemaking and slayer levels may be boosted. 43 Prayer is necessary for this mission to be more simple, and without it, boss fights can become very complex and may involve needing help by others players. You need to have successfully completed all the required requirements: The Dig Site, Druidic Ritual, Temple of Ikov, The Tourist Trap, Troll Stronghold, Death Plateau, Priest in Peril and Waterfall Quest.
There are many things you need for each phase of the quest. You can either have it all ready before each boss or as you progress through the quest. This is a list of everything you need to complete the quest:
12 Magic logs, 6 steel bars 6 molten glass, ashes, charcoal, a blood rune, bones cakes, chocolate, spiked shoes, climbing boots (Unless you have an access to the Trollheim Teleport or have completed Eadgar's Ruse then another pair of boots is needed) and garlic, lockpicks (you need a couple depending on your thieving level), a silver bar and some spice (just regular spice, different varieties won't work) also a mortar and pestle mortar, facemask, slayer's helmet, or gas mask and a tinderbox. 1000osrs or more, which will include fees for magical carpet. It is important to know that you will need these items.
Based on your level of skill/ magic/ combat level certain items may be helpful to you. Here are some solid suggestions for all. High healing food, antidote or antiposions (there is a lot of available in this quest) and prayer potions (strongly advised as many of the boss fights can be simplified by the protection spells) Super restore potions and ice gloves.
Start of the Quest
Essential items: 850gp as well as ashes, blood rune, charcoal, bones, 6 crystals, 12 magic logs, and 6 steel bars.
Recommended items: some waterskins (to shield from heat damage) rings of duels, stamina potion two shantay pass, antidote and anti-poison, and a digsite remote.
When you have your inventory ready head through the shanty pass south of Al-Kharid and travel to the Bedabin Camp using the magic carpet. Talk to the archaeologist when your arrive. Once you receive the etchings travel to the dig site, go inside the exam building and talk to the archaeology expert. Talk with him twice in order to get an interpretation of the etchings. Then return to the archaeologist in Bedabin Camp and give him the translations. Next, remove any "god" items (like zamorak clothing) or you will be attacked, go south to the camp of the bandits and purchase a drink in the pub for 650 GBP, and then speak to the bartender once more to learn about the diamonds found in Azzanadra. Go to Elbris following that and inquire about the four diamonds, He tells you that he needs specific items for the scrying glass. Give him all the required things you bought (except the price of the gp). Go south east until you reach the mirrors on the hill and meet Elbris at the mirrors. Now starts the main part of the mission, which includes defeating the 4 bosses and collecting the 4 diamonds. The bosses can be defeated in any order you'd like.
Ice Diamond
The items you need are: Chocolate Cake, climbing boots, Trollheim teleport, Spiked boots, food items and combat gear as well as runes to cast fire spells (choose the most powerful fire spell for you magic level), you should also have a few super restore potions, prayer potions as well as stamina potions. the area where you are fighting Kamil is a risk and will constantly take your health and lower your other skill levels.
Beginning with the ice-diamond starting with the ice diamond and ending with the boss kamil is considered to be the most difficult boss. Take a trip to Trollheim and head north-west, you'll meet a troll child by a gate. Speak to him and give him a chocolate cake to convince him to let you pass. Once you have passed through, talk to an ice troll then you will have to fight and defeat 5 Ice Trolls of increasing combat levels, using a fire spell is effective in this situation. If you have low health after the battle you can save and then return, since the cave's entrance to the north which is now open will remain. The cave's entrance is to be entered and follow the path round by flicking the melee protection prayer off and on when wolves are nearby. There will be a large opening. Kamil will come towards you by using the magic shield to initially to force him to move towards you, then use protection from melee as well as manually cast fire spells on him using the super restore feature, prayers, and food as needed. After defeat, follow the route around, get spiked boots and walk up the icy path. Go through the gate and then smash the ice which contains two parents of an child who is frozen. Talk to them and you are awarded the ice diamond.
Smoke Diamond
Requirements: 200 grams and tinderbox. Facemasks for energy or stamina, Shantay Pass or GBP for it or runes, ice gloves, and/or ice gloves to cast water-based spells combat equipment for casting spells, and prayer pots for protection from melee.
Make your way to Pollnivneach and making sure you are wearing a face mask, enter the smoke dungeon , which is located to the west within the town (make your way along the south-facing side of the mountain, then go north to find the entrance). Make sure you run quickly to each of the dungeons four corners and light the torch with your firebox. You must do this before any other torch goes out. Unlock the chest at the center to obtain the key, then use the key to unlock the eastern gate where you are confronted by the boss Fareed and fight him with water spells (you should have gloves made of ice equipped to wield the weapon). Once you have defeated him, grab the smoke diamond out of the dungeon.
Shadow Diamond
The items you need are lockpicks (more than one, especially for those with very low levels of thieving), prayer pots, runes for magic attacks (unlike other bosses, Damis has no weakness to any specific elemental-based spell)
Highly recommended items: the skill necklace that teleports you to the fishing guild, amulet of glory to Al-Kharid Shantay pass antipoisons/ antidotes, good food.
Travel to west to the west of the fishing guild, and you will find Rasolo walking around, he will offer you a ring of clarity and a gilded cross. The ring is needed to enter the shadow dungeon and to confront the boss Damis. Return to the Bandit Camp with a number of locks and anti-poison items (you could bring notepads with you and remove them from the exchange merchant in the town), use the lockpicks in the safe chest that is located in the tent with the most southern aspect If you fail, you will occasionally be hit with poison. Once the chest is open, you can retrieve the gold crossed cross, and then return it to Rasolo who will exchange it for the ring of clarity. When you've equipped the ring a ladder will appear to your east, go down it, and then follow the path to the east. Protect yourself from melee frequently since there are many enemies that lurk below. Eventually, you will meet Damis He has three different forms, you must be able to defeat them all to get your shadow diamond.
Blood Diamond
Items to be purchased: garlic powder (use a mortar and pestle for the garlic), silver bar, spice.
Recommended items: you should also take some nutritious food to eat during the boss battle and runes for the air spells, some prayer potions , and a way to transfer to Draynor.
Talk with Malak in the Canifis bar. He'll offer your the diamond of blood in exchange for your defeat of Dessous. Ask him to kill him before leaving for Draynor, once there take the trapdoor to the east of the bank, next to the jailhouse. Once you are inside Draynor sewers. Travel north until you come across Ruantun and he'll create you a silver pot using the items you brought. Following that, you will take it to Entrana (no weaponry or armor are permitted here), enter the church and have the pot blessed. Then, return to Malak in the Canifis Pub, to get the pot filled with blood. It is actually your blood. It could cause you to lose 5 HP. Add the garlic powder to the pot and prepare for the battle. Begin your journey through the Morytania graveyard. Utilize the pot containing blood in the tomb. at the moment Dessous arrives, sprint back behind the fence , and secure him with an air spell He isn't able to hit with melee strikes, so just apply protect from magic if you've identified him correctly. After defeat, return to Malak and collect your blood-diamond.
The Pyramid
The required items are Included: All four diamonds.
Items to consider: waterkins, anti-poisons, shanty pass, prayer pots, stamina and stamina pots and teleport away from there.
The mirrors are located south east of them. (from the beginning, where you last visited Eblis) you'll find an enormous pyramid with four Obelisks on its corners, place the diamond on their colour-corresponding the obelisks. Then walk up to the top of the pyramid and into the pyramid. Four levels to the pyramid, each with a maze and some deadly, poisonous enemies within. You will need a ladder to climb down to the lower level. the key to successfully completing the mazes is to know the direction you should run in when you reach the end. The directions from levels 1 to 4 are north east, south, and west. Once you have reached the last room, within the fourth maze you need to talk of Azzanadra who will hand you your reward. Congratulations you have now accomplished your Desert Treasure quest.
